服饰配件又称服饰品、配饰物、服装配饰。从广义上说，是指服装以外的所有附属在人体上的装饰。服饰配件的起源与使用都早于服装，远古时代，在人们还不懂穿衣时，为了传递某种美或标志性信息，就已经会使用石头、贝壳、羽毛等天然材料披挂于身，还会在人体的各个部位文身、穿刺，这些成为服饰配件的初始形态。从狭义上讲，服饰配件是指服装以外的所有附属、装饰于人体的物品。因为“服饰”，它表示“服装、服饰、衣着、穿着”的“配件”，从而体现了一种从属性，即服饰配件从属于服装的装饰品，是穿戴于人体上，如首饰、鞋袜、箱包、雨伞、帽子、丝巾、胸针等具有装饰作用的物品。这些是设计学所研究的关于服饰配件的主体内容，本课程主要以此概念展开。

Clothing accessories are also called clothing products,accessories,clothing accessories.In a broad sense,it refers to all the decorations attached to human body other than clothing.The origin and use of clothing accessories are earlier than clothing.In ancient times,people would hang themselves with stones,shells,feathers and other natural materials in order to convey certain beauty or symbolic information before they knew how to wear clothes.In a narrow sense,apparel accessories refer to all accessories other than clothing,decoration in the human body of goods.Because it is “dress”,it expresses “dress,dress,clothing,clothing”.the “fittings” reflected a kind of subordinate attribute thereby,namely dress fittings belongs to the adornment of dress.They are to wear on the human bodies,including articles with decorating functions such as jewelry,shoe socks,box bag,umbrella,hat,silk scarf,brooch and so on to have adornment effect the article.These are the main contents of the study on clothing accessories of the institute of design.This course is mainly based on this concept.(www.daowen.com)
