本书以我国社会主义市场经济体制为背景，以服务于我国经济与劳动体制改革为主旨，以劳动与社会保障以及相关学科的本科学生为对象，在编写过程中，坚持了以下基本原则：一是理论与实际相结合，力求从我国现实生活中提取理论观点，并以理论解释现实，以保持教材的生命力；二是继承与发展相结合，保留传统劳动经济学中的科学思想，并结合我国经济社会实际进行创新与发展；三是引进与改造相结合，吸收国外现代劳动经济学中与我国社会经济实际相适宜的科学内容，并从我国实际出发加以改造；四是立足现实，适当超前，以便使教材适应我国未来社会经济发展的需要。

本书由山西财经大学公共管理学院马培生教授担任主编，山西财经大学公共管理学院赵俊康教授、杨俊青教授担任副主编。参与本书编写的有：山西财经大学刘姗姗副教授、首都经济贸易大学吴江副教授、华南师范大学马斌副教授、西北大学薛新亚副教授。本书编写分工为：马培生编写第一章、第二章，赵俊康编写第三章、第四章，吴江编写第五章、第六章，杨俊青编写第七章、第八章、第九章，刘姗姗编写第十章、第十一章、第十二章。马斌、薛新亚提供了部分章节的初稿。

This textbook，grounding on the socialistic market economy，aims at serving the economy and labor management system reform in our country. Itis designed for the college studentsof the specialty of “Labor and Social Security”and relative sciences. In the process of writing and editing，the authors adhere to the following principles. The first one is to combine theory with practice，to manage to abstract theoretical opinions from practical life and explain them in academic perspectives so that the text can maintain its vigor. The second is to combine inheritance with development，to keep up the scientific thoughtsin traditional labor economics and to carry out innovation and development according to economic and social practice. The third is to combine introduction with reform ，to absorb from foreign modem labor economics the scientific contents suitable for our social and economic reality and reform them in accordance with ourpractice. The last one is to base the textbook on current practice and future so thatit can guide our development of society and economy.

The editor-in-chief of this textbook is Prof. Ma Peisheng from the Faculty of Public Administration of Shanxi University of Finance and Economics. Vice editors-in-chief are Prof. Zhao Junkang and Prof. Yang Junqing from the same school. Liu Shanshan from Shanxi University of Finance and Economics，Wu Jiang from Capital University of Economics and Business，Ma Bin from South China Nor mal University and Xue Xinya from Northwest University，allofwhom are associate professors，are authors. Chapter 1 and 2 are written by Ma Peisheng，Chapter 3 and 4 by Zhao Junkang，Chapter 5 and 6 by Wu Jing by Chapter 7 to 9 by Yang Junqing and Chapter 10 to 12 by Liu Shanshan. Some chapters drafts are provided by Ma Bin and Xue Xinya.
