老师用一些可以表达个人意见的短语,比如“I think”,“I agree”等课堂话语来削弱他们的权威性形象,与学生平等互动,表达自己的观点和看法,构建个人身份。

教师:From this definition, I think maybe we can get what our classmates have mentioned...but, as far as I am concerned, I can’t say I agree or not, because it is beyond my capability...(record 14, 20min35s)
Example 6:
教师:Maybe this point isn’ t mentioned in our text, but I think it’s possible...I agree with Wei XX has mentioned...(record 13, 6min12s)
在这种情况下,老师用“I think”和“I agree”这样的短语来表达自己的主观看法,和同学们用相同的角色定位思考。这也是现今课堂语境中教师构建个人身份的一种常用策略。
